Who we are
Ghostlight Stage Design began as the brainchild of three brothers from separate mothers.
And, well…. separate fathers too, actually.
More than just best friends, Josh, Jason, and Stefan have a bond that has lasted over 25 years. Each of the three brings to the table a unique amalgam of talents and expertise. Blending a love of theatre, art, and special effects, Ghostlight allows each team member to contribute their greatest strengths. The level of synergy in any organization can be the most important recipe for success, and this team is a step above in their ability to work together to produce fantastical results.
Joshua graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with a BFA in Theatre Performance. He has more than 20 years of experience in many aspects of the theatre. From Technical Direction, to Production Management experience with both touring shows as well as regional and college theatre. As the Production Manager at Priscilla Beach Theatre, Josh oversaw production and technical direction, and has 80+ shows to his credit. He has taught technical theatre at the college level, in addition to his professional theatre experience.
Jason is a scenic artist, sculptor, puppet maker, and prop designer with a BFA in Studio Art from the University of North Texas. He originally went to college as a theatre major, and has over a dozen shows to his credit as a performer, assistant stage manager, and production assistant. He has designed and constructed multiple custom props for college and professional productions.
If you were to look up words like polymath or savant, it’s possible you may run across a picture of Stefan. With a range of expertise that stretches from construction, carpentry and metalworking, to electrical engineering, CAD and 3D printing, to graphic design and other art forms; he has spent his entire life in the pursuit of knowledge. Stefan is both the epitome of a jack of all trades, and the ultimate “guy in the chair”.
